Wayfinding Graphic Design

Reed Burgoyne’s project, “Wayfinding Graphic Design,” will provide the Center with a much needed re-imagining of the how we navigate the collection and study center. This contribution will invigorate the opening of the new center and will greatly improve the accessibility of the collection for all researchers, students and public.

March 24, 2010: Additionally, we are continuing to implement the new Wayfinding System that began with Reed Burgoyne’s Rhoda Lubalin Fellowship project. Joe Kendall continues to finesse his ambitious Graphic Design Archive project, also created through the Rhoda Lubalin Fellowship. We expect its completion by the end of the Spring 2010 semester.

Reed created a wallpaper design and the labeling branding system for the archive based on the Avant Garde typeface
